Description[]

Jenk lives on Jagaimo and begins his journey here. Jagaimo is Japanese for potato. Jagaimo is the main island used throughout Episode 1.

Jenk's Hut[]

Jenk's Hut is where Slime Forest begins and includes a sleeping mat for Jenk, a sleeping mat for his brother, and a fire where they cook their meals. Jenk's Brother can always be found in their hut and cooks 3 meals per day which replenish Jenk's health based on the quality of the meal.

If Jenk attempts to eat a meal when his health is full he will be told to come back later.

In the village, Jenk can steal Gold from some of the villager's homes.

  • Northwest Building 1 = Villager's home. No items. JagaimoVillageHouse1JagaimoVillageHouse2
  • Northwest Building 2 = Villager's home. 200 gold.
  • Left Central Building = Inn. Staying at the inn cost 20 Gold. It saves the game and exits. When the game is restarted, Jenk's health is restored based on how long Jenk rests (real time).

  • Northeastern Building = Villager's home. 200 gold.

  • Eastern Building = A resident old man offers an amulet that protects against magic.
  • There is also the pirate by the northeast pond that will sell Jenk a pirate ship for 9,999 gold.

Shop[]

  • Whistle causes NPCs to move faster if blocking the way.
  • Herb is single-use and heals Jenk to maximum health.
  • Odaicon Blessing reduces slime attacks for about 20-30 moves.
  • Odaicon Circle saves and exits the game without slimes stealing gold.
  • Slime Shaker begins a slime battle, if slimes can be found when used.
  • Shark repellent...no longer has a use. Do not buy it.
  • Kitchen oil is the first food item that improve his meals. Each purchase unlocks the next item.
  • Salt - 50 gold
  • Seeds - 100 gold
  • Chicken - 500 gold
  • Spices - 1,000 gold
  • Pig - 2,000 gold
  • Fishing rod - 5,000 gold. Purchasing all items heals Jenk for ~125 compared to the initial 100.

Castle[]

Jagaimo Castle

The castle is located in the top right corner of Jagaimo.  It contains many guards, diplomats, villagers, and the King.

There are 8 chests in the northern section of the Castle. Each holds 5 gold for 40 gold altogether.

In the castle, Jenk can talk to the King, who tells him that the Princess has been kidnapped. Speaking to the King or any castle inhabitants is not required to begin or continue the quest.

In the top right is a stairway to the barracks. There are no items to be found there.

In the bottom right is the Tower of Silence. This area is inaccessible to common folk.

Once Jenk is knighted, the Tower of Silence is accessible and contains the Book. Jenk will need the Book to learn and charge spells.

The 8 chests in the southwest contain 5 gold each for 40 gold altogether. They are accessible on the way to the Sage's tower once Jenk is knighted.

The Forest[]

In the forest, random battles are far more likely. Also note that the chances of a random battle go up with the amount of Gold Jenk it carrying. Only the hills are safe from slimes. Jenk needs to fight slimes to level up his skills.

The dungeon is located on the bottom right of the island, past the forest.

Important Items[]

In order to proceed past the first 2 floors Jenk will need to acquire the Princess Ring and bring it back to the castle located above the dungeon.

Noteworthy Mentions[]

  1. Food item can be purchased and given to Jenk's brother, Kale, to permanently improve the healing effect of his meals. The shop offers kitchen oil for 10 gold, then salt for 50 gold, seeds for 100 gold, chicken for 500 gold, spices for 1,000 gold, pig for 2,000 gold, and ending with the fishing rod for 5,000 gold. Purchasing all items heals Jenk to maximum +25 compared to the initial maximum health.
  2. Jagaimo cave contains Escape Twine, which instantly teleports the Jenk out of any cave.
