Amulet

An amulet is a key item which increases the player's magic defense when obtained. This means the player will take less damage from slimes found in caves. This reduces damage from Wizard Testing Slimes from 10-50 down to 1-6 per attack.

How to Get it[]

From Jenks house, head straight up into town. Turn right. Keep walking right past the dirt path until you reach a house. Go inside the house and open the chest in the lower right corner.

How to Use[]

This item does not seem to need equipping. Simply having it in your possession should be enough to decrease magic damage. Because it is free, it should be obtained before entering the first cave .
